Free machine embroidery on a lampshade: Saturday November 9th, 10-3pm

This course combines learning the addictive art of free motion embroidery, and making a lampshade! People have admired the shades I have on display in the shop, it’s a great way of displaying your crafty art in a practical way.

This will suit beginners and returners to free motion embroidery, as we’ll spend the morning experimenting and making an embroidered and appliquéd panel, using Liberty fabric from my stash – then after lunch we will incorporate the panel into a drum lampshade. Simples!!

Everything is included – drum lampshade kit and fabric plus a light lunch.

Those who have experience may like to go ‘off piste’ with your own designs, or use my tried and tested design.
